I am Desislava Georgieva, a Bulgarian artist and illustrator specialising in children’s and narrative illustration. I work in both colour and monochrome with ink, watercolour and acrylic.

A focus in my work is expressive characters drawn and painted with meticulous detail and accompanied by busy backgrounds. Even though I enjoy drawing crazy perspectives and convoluted scenes, once in a while I do something simple and clean.

I am currently based in London, UK.
