This is my BA Illustration thesis project.

A series of illustrations for a collection of 6 fairy and folk tales featuring Death as a personified character. The tales include: Andrew Lang’s “The Ratcatcher”; “Aunt Misery”, a South American legend; Brothers Grimm’s “Godfather Death”; the Japanese legend “The Snow Bride”; H. C. Andersen’s “The Story of a Mother”; and “The Giant Death”, a Krachi myth from Togo.
